Via my socials, I often get questions about the beauty products I use and how I do my make-up. It made me thinking: ‘Should I start posting short and (especially) fun beauty tutorials?‘ To be honest, I’m afraid I will look like a total fool on video. But maybe I just have to overcome that insecurity, because I really do love make-up and the whole business of beauty products. Plus, what’s there to lose?
I’m going to think about it a little longer. In the meantime. I decided to add this brand new Beauty categorie to my blog. I am planning on posting about beauty products, things I really like and I believe are the best for your skin, hair, wrinkles, and all those other parts. Today I’m kicking it off with some basic beauty products I’ve been using for a long time or will be using even longer since they’re just simply the best:
GRANDIOSE BY LANCOME
Best mascara on the market! No further caption needed, besides: buy it, try it, believe it.
THE NUDES BY MABELLINE
The palette was a gift from a friend a long time ago, and I still use it. Always. For daily casual looks or in addition to more extravagante looks. The different colors all match, and I think you can not go wrong with this palette. Plus, all shades are very long lasting.
BLUSH AND GLOW BY LAURA MERCIER
Again, this was a gift from a friend. And besides the fact I think make-up is always a good choice when it comes down to gifts, the Blush and Glow by Laura Mercier especially was a very good gift. I love it and the tones are perfect for shaping your face. With the powder blending in so perfectly, you will not see any evident lines or shape-strikes in your face. Love this one. Truly, madly, deeply.
MINERALIZE MOISTURE BY MAC
This foundation is simply the best. I use it almost daily and even though my skin is super sensitive, this foundation does not irritate my skin in any way. Plus, there’s SPF protection. And that’s, from my opinion, a must for daytime facial beauty products
I don’t use foundation primer very often. But, if I do (especially when I’m going out or shooting looks for my blog) I love this one from Laura Mercier. I recently discovered it, and totally fell for it. Works awesome and the smell is also amazing.
LAYIN’ LOW BY MAC
Again something from MAC. But that’s not very surprising. I’ve been cherishing this brand for as long as I can remember. Anyhow, this Layin’ Low is a eyeshadow primer which I always (like always-always) use when wearing make-up. Sometimes I don’t even add eye shadow since the color alone is super beautiful and perfect for a basic eye. But, when I layer eyeshadow it just sticks to the lid forever. Well, at least until you decide to wash it all of. I recommend this one BIG TIME.
MAGNIFICENT VOLUME BY ORIBE
This shampoo is kind of an investment. But I only wash my hair once a week (I believe that’s the key to a healthy mane), so I have decided it’s worth the money because this shampoo is the best. It makes my hair flowy, gives it extra volume, smells delicious and super shiny. All product of ORIBE are a dream btw. But, if I have to choose one. This is it.
