There is no such thing as one kind of New Yorker. Does the one and only New Yorker actually exist? I mean, New York is a melting pot of people from all around the world. That is what makes New York, New York. But, without making this post some sort of essay about New Yorkers, let’s talk what a lot of the citizens do have in common. And, that’s the black uniform. New Yorkers aren’t particularly the brightest people when it comes down to their day-to-day outfit. All-black is a real thing overhere and called the distinguishing mark of New Yorkers by not only me. And, I happily follow. Especially for everyday looks, but certainly also for nights out.

The one advice I have about all-black-uniforms, is to combine different (and rich) materials. This prevents the whole ensemble to become kind of dull. Like with this look: woolen, denim, leather in different tones of black. Very casual, but not dull. Don’t you think?
