FLARED IS BACK

We all have those pictures from when on high school and somewhere at the beginning of college. The young, naive you is too cute, but what’s not so cute are those outfits!! Seriously, I have a few – and I can’t believe I’m already thinking this…isn’t that only supposed to happen when your children look (and laugh) at your pictures?! – but, I have a few and my only thought on what I’m wearing is: Stop the madness!! What is this?!

Because of those pictures I promised myself to never ever color my hair red, nor to ever wear shirts with huge polo players on it (yup, I was the preppy gal) and to never go back to those flared jeans. And you see what happened: flared is back! Plus: I can not get enough of them.

Honestly, I really sworn them off until that moment I wandered down one of my favorite shops and saw-grabbed-tried-and-bought the ones I’m wearing in today’s look. I think it’s not the easiest item to create looks with, especially when you’re not that tall (like me), but it’s doable. I’ve created length with my shearling and added a little country with a tied up denim-look shirt. Just keep it simple, get used to the flared and feel comfy. Because it really is comfy to go back to the flare!

I’m really really curious what you think of the revival of flared, so do not hesitate to let me know : )
