Wear your sunnies during a mimosa’ brunch at Isola and enjoy a L.A.-moment in the city, because this place just breathes the ambiance of the glammy East Coast. As part of the Soho Mondrian hotel, Isola is build as a huge greenhouse where the sun is seemingly always shining. So – as said – do not forget your fashionable shades if you want – and we always want – to blend in the cool crew.
Isola is spacious, the interior is gorgeous and they have pretty cool boots for bigger groups. Unfortunately, the food wasn’t extremely delicious. Only the antipasti and the tuna club sandwich were quite good. But let’s be honest… between rockstar-looks and fabby-fashionista’s, a liquid dinner sometimes is how it’s supposed to be. So, Isola: perfect place for mini bites and maxi bloody Mary’s.
ISOLA – THE MONDRIAN HOTEL
A super cool spot, with btw an amazing entrance of the hotel (don’t miss that green tunnel). Italian LA-style lunch, meaning: small bites to compensate with large drinks. Despite the fact we were not over the sky about the food, the antipasti and tuna clubsandwich tasted really good!
AND there’s a rooftop! Haven’t been there yet, but expect it online asap!
During the week, it can be a bit quit. So go on Sundays or Saturdays, but make sure you make a reservation then.
Monday – Saturday : 7am – 11pm
