also known as: little Friday. And that, ladies and gents, is a very good reason to let it loose. And when I’m in that kind of mood, I always grab my boyfriend denim. Unfortunately it’s still a little bit frisky on this side of the ocean, so the ripped jeans had to go with some woolen fabrics.
I chose to go black. Personally I think – besides white – you can never go wrong with black on denim. The turtleneck from Sunaj – very cool NY based label – has this special woven pattern (especially on the ends) which gives it a boho groove. These kind of edgy fabric details can be used to lift up black-on-denim just a little bit more.
The jeans and top are the base of any outfit you want to create with the power of accessories. A shopper and sneakers will leave you looking perfect for any casual day, but – like I did – do you want to sparkle the base with a little bit glam; go for a classic clutch and heels. This Samantha Wills has the same boho feel as the turtleneck, which makes the whole look balanced. I think that’s the key to looking ‘put together’. Choose one or two colors and go for a theme in your details.
So, what are you doing this little Friday?
oh and, would love to hear what you think of this look and the styling tricks I wrote done.
