My adoration of the all-black-suit, is no secret. Even in Spring, I still think this, besides maybe the other option; all-white, is the best color to work with for a balanced look. As long as you (here’s my rule again) combine with different fabrics. This time I mingled suede, woolen, cotton and leather. But the star of the show, is obviously this fringe jacket. Besides the uplifting-the-whole-ensemble-effect, this jacket also prevents the skirt to be too ‘cheerleaderish’. I mean, to be honest with you, I was in doubt when I stumbled upon this item. On one hand it felt like a nice basic, on the other hand it felt like the uniform I wore every Saturday to field hockey…But, I decided to buy and see how it worked out outside an overcrowded sample sale day in a dodgy building somewhere in Midtown. And so it quite did. Right?
